One Response to “A Resilient Life: Learning to thrive, not just survive with rheumatoid arthritis”
  1. A Resilient Life is for anyone who lives with chronic pain. Kat shares her personal journey with rheumatoid arthritis from childhood to adulthood. From “just suck it up” to taking charge of her disease by learning to be her own best friend. She covers relationships with family members, friends, co-workers, doctors, and the impact all of them have on her life, her self worth, and living with rheumatoid arthritis. She summarizes chapters and provides worksheets to guide you toward an understanding of your own pain and how to live life well with it.

I loaned my copy to a friend with osteo arthritis. She loved it and showed it to her rheumatologist who is recommending it to her patients. My friend just ordered her own copy so she can use the work sheets and highlight everthing that is important for her to live life well with her disease.
